Forty years ago, the IWI began to promote social, cultural, intellectual exchange and friendship among women of all nationalities living in Istanbul. It has grown into a large association with more than 650 members. In 1994, the IWI became a legal association working in accordance with the Turkish Laws for Associations.
Our organization also supports many charities in Istanbul. Two of our main annual charity fund-raising events are the Christmas Bazaar, a unique and fun-filled day of holiday spirit, and the Spring Ball, an exclusive and chic evening gala.
To become an IWI Sponsor:
To take part in these prestigious events you can become an IWI sponsor. There are many opportunities for companies and individuals to help the IWI succeed with both of its fundraising and charitable events. You can view past sponsors on the Christmas Bazaar and Spring Ball pages.
Sponsorship can be a general agreement throughout the year or dedicated to a specific charity event of your choosing. Different levels of sponsorships are available and provide visible benefits to the sponsors. Please note that they can be tailored to our agreement.
We are especially seeking your support in:
- Cash donations
- Donations of goods and/or services (of a minimum value of € 50)
- Donations and/or services of drink, tableware and decoration products.
Your sponsorship will help the IWI in its effort to sustainably improve the lives of many within the Istanbul community. As IWI is a non-profit association, all net proceeds will be allocated to our 2011-2012 charity projects such as Bomonti Fransız Fakirhanesi, KEDV, SSK Okmeydani Hospital and Mavi Kalem.
