Arzu’s passion for the art of cooking first blossomed in her hometown of Sinop, in the northernmost part of Turkey. Growing up in a household where both her parents loved to cook, she learned from an early age to infuse passion in every bite. Educated at top universities abroad, and working as a lecturer and strategy consultant, she had the opportunity to live in several countries - her love of food grew as she experienced and was influenced by her time in Germany, the UK, South Africa, Singapore and Hong Kong. She earned her pastry chef degree at the Prue Leith Chef’s Academy in South Africa, and worked at one of South Africa’s favourite patisserie and food shops – Moemas. For the last four years, she has loved being back in her native country and running cookery workshops for the international community.
